Jesus College, University of Cambridge
The workshop will be held in West Court, which opened in 2017 with state-of-the-art conference facilities in the Frankopan Hall.
The facilities at this 15th Century college have been refurbished extensively recently, so that all accommodation is en-suite. Delegates requiring partner accompaniment or other caring needs (e.g. young children) should contact us directly via the Contact form.
Accommodation will be available for the nights before the workshop starts (from 19th April 2021) and after it finishes (until 23rd April) to suit those participants travelling long distances and those with caring needs. There will be a charge for this unless it is related to caring needs.
Evening Meal & Networking
A wide range of dietary needs can be accommodated, given notice.
Cambridge can be reached readily by major roads, and by regular coach and train services from London and the Midlands.
London’s Stansted airport is 40 minutes away by coach or train.
Regular coach services also service London’s Luton, Gatwick and Heathrow airports. The Thameslink service provides a direct link to Gatwick airport.
Car parking is available for delegates at the College.
The college is a short walk from the bus/coach station and the city centre. The main railway station station is a longer walk (about 2.5 km). A taxi from the railway station to the college costs approximately £10, and there are also bus services available. Directions and maps are available on the college website.
Visas and documentation
This Workshop is being held after the date at which the UK leaves the EU so participants must check the visa and UK entry requirements which apply to them.
Enquiries regarding supporting letters for visa applications should be addressed to Prof. Ian Wilson using the Contact form on this website.
